i think this was a good learning experience for a number of people.  i am suprised that a 3000 dollar loss wasnt a big problem for anyone.      second i didnt think the heifer looked like she might only be worth about 2500 at best if she was tame. sorry just my own thoughts.

That is probably true , but if you count feed and the fuel the loss is even higher, I seen a lot worse go through the sale for more money it is all a crap shoot anyway i have been doing this since i was a kid the only thing my dad was cheep!!!!

My 10 year old girl works with her and can catch her halter her and lead or tie her , she is  as calm as 50% of the cubbies in the show ring . she only get hard if you cut her head, feet or shots.

My 10 year old girl works with her and can catch her halter her and lead or tie her , she is as calm as 50% of the club calfs in the show ring . she only get hard if you cut her head, feet or shots.
I find this quite humorous , she has probably the same temperament as the heatwave heifers on the classified ads with cleaner front, as much style, volume , top and mussel definition and they are priced a 4k and by they way Monopoly calf's have been doing very good this year i just might have to keep and feed her and spend extra 5 days at show for heifer show next year.
