Hey guys I have a triple bred wyoming wind heifer we have done well showing with this year never lost a class and was junior division champ in houston with her. She is not excessively fat and has great epd numbers my question is has anyone used this bull on heifers in my opinion he could possibly be the match for the great one most of us are looking for with this heifer. Any feed back will be appreciated! Thank you!

A guy in nebraska the reason i wanted to use this bull is because he is a complete outcross from the wyoming wind in her and he would add some bone and milk epd numbers. He is not known for extreme calving easy but no one has had any calving problems with him.

outcross.  that is a completely insufficient reason to use that bull.  there must be several bulls that add bone and milk.  what are the females in your heifer?  does one of them have any value worth concentrating and were not bred to wyoming wind that are known for milk and bone?

I sure wouldn't use him on a heifer.... maybe next time or in a flush but not her first natural calf!  JMHO.....
