He's probably been underused, I've saw only a few calves out of him and they were all hfrs. Real nice hfrs too. One turned out to be a heck of a cow.

Do you have any idea how he calves? What kind of cows he works on?

We had about a dozen calves out of him the first few years he was out.  He added bone and body, look was pretty good, structure was pretty good.  Kept two daughters, they milked terrible and were out of good milking cows.  I culled them as 4 and 6 year old cows for being open.  Fat, sorry milking, open cows don't get a 2nd chance here. I saw him as a mature bull and he looked really good.  Birth weights were all over the board, but not any worse than any other clubby bull.  We never used him on heifers and never pulled any out of cows, but I do remember one weighing 140#.

Not had a lot of experience with him ,but had a super Char x SS that showed lot of muscle ,thickness ,moderate and real bad disposition .....No problem with cow other wise and one heifer that was super good and raising some good calves now ...
