We've had 7 Stainless Steel calves over the last few years and I would say they are far above average on temperment.  We never had a problem with any of ours.

We have 2 daughters.  They both had Northern Improvement calves last year for their first calf and they were good.  This year the black one raised a Vegas and the Smokey one raised a Lifeline.  Both are very nice heifer calves.

My only concern with the Stainless Steel daughters is that both of mine are below average in milk and both were out of heavy milking cows.

Might try them with sunseeker. He seems to quiet down the calves from some of the snottier cows. Could be some real cool calves i'm sure som interesting color as well
