Everybody is headed out to the state fair....and everybody has to wander out of the barn for a snack at least once..........what's your favorite all time state fair junk food?

Mine is a blast from the past.... A "Tubby burger" from the South Dakota State Fair.

Iowa added a "fair square" this year.  It is a rice krispie treat on a stick....They were HUGE, couldn't finish it and was only $2.00-a steal at the fair....

There was a vendor for a long time at our county fair that had this little Pizza stand. My whole family said it was horrible. But I really like a good frozen pizza. I know that sounds weird but it was so good. Crispy crust and lots of cheese.

I just returned from 5 days at the Iowa State Fair and over that time I had all my favorites--mini donuts, a "Roast Beef Sundae", several shakes from the Dairy Bar, a drumstick and turkey tenderloin from the Iowa Turkey Fed. booth, a "Porkchop on a stick", a couple of strawberry smoothies from the stand near the new cattle barn, and many, many of my favorite lemonades from the stand by the 4H exhibit hall or the stand right out side the Show Pavilion.  Now I'm signing up for Weight Watchers!!!

Has to be the prime rib sandwich with plenty of horseradish.  That is a classic at our fair.  My other favorite is the tiger ear a scone about 18" in diameter.  Good eats.

I don't know if a prime rib sandwich with horseradish can be beat. That sounds really good.

Fried pickles are getting popular down here in Texas. Can't beat it with a good hamburger. Had fried pickles in tempura batter at a new hamburger place in McKinney, Tx the other day and they were really good.

I love the funnel cakes and pronto pups, but my favorite at the Kansas State Fair is probably the roasted corn.  That stuff is awesome.
