Just wondering what the status of Who Made Who is currently?  Also, what prominent steer bulls are still producing and others that are not.

Also, of the better bulls, which ones have much higher semen prices since they are no longer producing?

Not bad for a cripple, huh. WMW was the soundest, most athletic, attractive mature bull I ever saw. He danced like a drunken frat boy when I saw him in the pasture as a 10 year old. Screwed like one too.

I think Steermaker was 15 when he died. the story I was told he was shot by a jealous yearling with just cause.

He didn't exactly drop over dead, they took him to the sale barn and know we are eating him!

Ok I know this is kind of off topic but, Im looking to raise a small herd of possible show type calves once i get a job and get a steady income and such, right now im a senior in college and will be graduating in May. I already have a small herd (6 cows) and will be hoping to improve the quality and increase the numbers within the next 3-6 years.  Would it be worth me purchasing some WMW semen now and just holding on it until I have the right females to use it even though that could be another 3 years away?

Yep, he's been making champions since the 90's, he's not gonna go out of style in another couple years.
