Steel Force

I am absolutely positive. I even ask to see the DNA papers to verify it. And he is registered.

CAB: I can't tell you why he hasn't promoted him big time yet. I do know he had quite a hassle getting everything verified and everyone to cooperate. I also know he has a large cattle herd himself and collected him once or twice then he actually went out and bred a large number of cows/heifers (Imagine that! A bull actually phyically breeding cows!)
I will probably see him in the next few days, I will ask him and see what he says.

I'm pretty sure that John thought that he had all of the possible ful sibs sewn up B4 he locked the door on the public access to Steal Force.
  Star Power didn't hit it very hard @ all until Sinclair's bought him and took new pics. There was an earlier pic of SP in an April issue of SC B4 Sinclair's got him bought. You can tell it's the same bull, but barely. He took off when the blue collar couldn't afford Steal Force. JMO.

Well I don't know about everyone else, but we used him strictly on the recommendation of our Genex rep (that won't happen again) we really wanted Mama's Boy, but they didn't carry him and we were in a hurry.  Don't know about the rest, but I bet Star Power sold a whole lot less semen this year, Sinclairs do a fabulous job and there aren't many that can make one look better, but he just didn't pan out on the calving end IMO.

What's Steel Force semen bringing these days .. IF you can get ahold of it?

Jill.. for whatever it is worth, we used Mama's Boy and based on what we got, we'll be breeding a lot more cows to him next year. 

Steel Force averaged $230/unit on the Embryos on Snow.
