Steer-Any Thoughts?

This is a February 28th Simmental steer. He is out of BMR Explorer and I'm not sure what his dam's name is. I am thinking about getting him for a 4-H market steer.


Pictures are from a cell phone and they aren't great. Any thoughts or opinions from what you can see?

looks like he could have potential if fed right.  For me he is a bit leggy and looks like he may end up very large framed, which you personally may or may not want.  I would say it's a gamble for sure as he could be a diamond in the rough or just rough...good luck whatever you do!

He could use a ton more bone

From the pics it appears he has some issues with his hocks turning in on those rear wheels. He will need a lot of hoof work to turn that around. just my opinion.

Yea!! I noticed this as well... something just don't look right with the rear wheels especialy on the passenger side...
