I have been halter breaking 3 steers for the past 3 weeks.  All 3 steers have been blown out, clip on and brushed.  They will also lead out of the barn (not the best but will lead).  So this past Saturday was the deal to deliver the steers.  So I loaded 1 steer in front of the trailer and took his halter off because he had a longer ride.  The other 2 steers loaded up but I left them tied up because they was just going to be in the trailer for 15mins.  When I got to the customer house to unload the 2 steers they was jumping a around a little but they calm down when I got next to them.  I got 1 steer and walked him out of the trailer.  As we was standing outside the trailer the other steer started jumping around a little but I was thinking it was because I took his buddy out.  So I turn the steer around so he could see him.  Also at this time the customer dad was walking up to the steer to calm him down and get him out of the trailer.  When he was doing that the steer was getting worse and was going nuts.  He got him loose and the steer start to bolt out of the trailer.  He held on to him and got out of the trailer.  Then the steer tried to bolt 2 more times before he could get him in the pen.  Once he was in the pen and got him to stand he took his halter off.  After that the steer came charging to the fence.  After a few mins I walked the other steer into the same pen and the steer come running by me.  By this time the steer is very hot.  So I got out of the pen and walked around the outside to get the steer to move over to the water.  When I got close to him he come charging the fence again.  After he got water he calm down some and I walked back in the pen and soak him with water to cool him off.  I told the customer to let him calm down and see if they could catch him tomorrow.  They told him that he didnt do anything when they fed them saturday evening or sunday morning.  Sunday evening they went out to try and catch him and they said he was charging again.  This steer has never acted anything like this.  I told them I would come pick him back up.  Do anyone have any thoughts on what happen or what I should do?  Just wondering if he will get over this to be able to show?
