Hi everyone.  Our sons steer likes to hold his tail out when he is set up and being scratched or even left alone.  We quite scracthing his belly and tried his brisket but no luck.  He is relaxed and no real issues.  We try to hook it down with the show stick but it doesn't really work.  Any suggestions would be appretiated.

the only way that fixes it is to buy a new cow  O0 (lol)

idk if you are kidding but that is not cool. these animals are meant to be a learning experience not to be treated like that.

and trapper, if he holds his tail out it is ok. the judge won't say anything about it. it won't hurt you in showmanship or market. unless he looks like the pig in the lion king (lol)

hope this helped
