We have a 1000 lb Trump Train and Yellow Jacket Steer that is only eating about 5 lbs. per day
We had him on the following diet:
275 lbs Corn
150 lbs Oats
100 lbs Grand 4T Fyer
25 lbs Cottonseed Huls
12 lbs Coc c curb
20 lbs Sweet Tooth
150 lbs Pre con
3 lbs Bi carb
We switched to the following to give him a higher energy diet and he went off feed immediately
200 lbs flaked corn
115 lbs corn
40 oats
100 grand 4t Fyer
20 cotton seed huls
25 sweet tooth
We have tried an antibiotic followed by probiotics,  we have tried keeping feed in front of him constantly, we have tried limiting hay. He has a clean water source.  Right now we are mixing 3 lbs of the 1st ration with 1 lb of the second and top dressing 3 lbs of precon an 12 oz. of alleviate and probiotics.  This has been going on for a month.  Our Fair is July 8th. We weighed in on December 9th at 670.  At this rate we will never make weight for fair.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

Is he running a fever? What's his stool consistency like? How long since last worming and what kind of wormer was used?

Is bicarb in one of the ingredients in the second ration at the same total concentration?

Yes, bicarbonate was in the second ration when we switched, we took it out of the last batch because we started alleviate.  His stool consistency is normal and he is not running a temp.  We wormed him a month ago with a pour on and last week we wormed him again with safe guard.

How much does he weigh now?  If the second ration made him stop eating try eliminating that for now. Maybe try just hay for a couple days, then go back to the first ration.  We have had good luck with Stand Alone to keep them eating when they are almost finished. Stand Alone Chubby will put some weight on them.

He weighed 1000 lbs last Tuesday, we have gone back to the original ration as of Saturday.  He did eat 5 lbs this morning, so that is better but still not the 22 he was eating.
