How has everyone weighed in so far?

My Red and White steer, Alex, weighed in at 75 (MARCH 5)

I have to wait to weigh in my Roan steer Zues and my brothers white steer Cloud till MARCH 19. They should both weigh in pretty heavy.

The Red and white steer will be going to Canyon County at the end of July and the other two will be going to Western Idaho in the middle of August.

Weighed in my steer last weekend, tipped the scales at 1050 and he's not due til the beginning of September for the county fair. I'm thinking I'm gonna have to hold him later on.

i got my steer last september weighting 1125 and our county show isnt untill this march we held him so hard making him only gain 25lbs in 3-4months. by no means to we starve him we had him on 6lbs a day of finisher and free choice of hay and he is just an easy keeper and stayed with us so well now he is up to a 50lb bag a day just to finish him out nice and boy do i mean nice. :) good luck! i like it better this way because if he ever stopped eating he has a few lbs to spare

We wieghed in three calves on January 9th. Market heifer was 698, and the two steers were 702 and 752 respectively. Our county show weighins are July 28th, that gives us exactly 200 days. Our target weights for the fair are 1275 to 1350, so we will need to do about 2.85 - 3.00 lbs/day. One of the three will be shown at the State Fair/AkSarBen in September, so the 12 75 will ultimately end up at about 1375.

At our first progress show 41 days after wieghins, we ended up with rate of gains of 1.9 and 3.05 lbs/day for the heifer and big steer respectively. Our bunk space has been tight for the 4 that are being fed, so we've added an empty mineral tub to increase the feeding space. I'm hoping we can get all four in the pen up to target weights by early July.
