My son's steer has really loose stools.  Not squirting, but like pancake batter.  I noticed feed evident in the manure also.  We began adding Stab. Rice bran 3 days ago, could that be the problem? He is getting 3 1/2 lbs finisher, 4 lbs. steam flaked corn, 3 lbs. beet pulp, 1 lb vitafirm and less than 1/2 lb rice bran twice a day, along with all the hay he can eat.  We started him on 15g probios yesterday.  Any other suggestions?  I was thinking about skipping his feeding tonight....would that be beneficial?  Our show is in 3 wks.

You're feed is pretty hot mixed like that.  Cut back on the corn and add beet pulp.

This has been going on for about 3 days.  We are trying to get him finished for our show in 3 wks. which is the reason for the large amount of corn.  We did feed more beet pulp tonight and left out the rice bran.  We'll see what tomorrow brings.  I don't know what Bovitech is.......I know we did not add it.

Are you feeding HSC finishing touch? That has Bovitech. It very well could have been the rice bran, just keep gradually increase it. I know this has happened to us when we first start a calf on something so high in fat.
