I have a tiger woods calf that was born  April 1 2011 and seems to be very stiff in the joints on her front legs. She is able to walk on it but isnt able to move around very well. Is it just genetics or could it have something to do with how she was in the womb? Is there anything i can do to fix it?

this is a pic of how she was lying once she came out. The fron leg was tucked under. Any ideas?

I would say they hurt her.  She doesn't walk much. And yes she sucks on her own.

ya i would just give her some time to stretch out. we had a calf that was limping around because he something was wrong with his shoulder, but he came out of it fine after about a week.

Zach with her age this can be a sign of a navel infection. For some reason it can go system and tends to settle in the joints. You may want to talk to your vet about treating the infection. You will be surprised if you treat her and she responds how quickly they come around.

What is joint ill?
Navel or joint ill is a disease of young calves, usually less than one week of age. It occurs as a result of infection entering via the umbilical cord at, or soon after, birth. This infection can result in a range of signs depending on where the bacteria spread to. The commonest sites for bacteria to settle are the joints. This leads to swollen stiff painful (often hot) joints
