Hello, I'm sure this question has been asked a thousand times over...But oh well here is once more.

I'm looking for a CE white shorthorn bull that will add some butt. Is there such a bull?

White Jazz is a white calving ease shorty bull. Not sure about adding butt, however he is a JPJ son so he should add some thickness.

Are you looking for a white bull with calving ease to use on heifers, cows or both?  We sold a good white bull in our spring sale that has a 90 lb BW from a mature dam. He is very thick deep and has a good butt. He is sired by HC Timeline 17T ET and his dam is Frimley Rene Dottie 72R. He sold to Wyoming at $4500. His maternal brother sold for $5500. Both bulls sold to commercial operations however the outfit that got the white bull also have some purebred Shorthorn cows as well. I have attached a picture of him at 11 months of age.

I'm not sure if the new owners will be interested in selling semen from him or not.

Brad Davis in Iowa has a White Proud Jazz out of Fringes Sonnyx KABA dam -who is also a full sib to 2 semen bulls-Get Serious and the other one.But this bull is really doing the job:and the calves are no problem at all.-there is a beast of a white club calf listed for sale in Texas in the Classifieds (look about a week ago for shorthorn calves Texas) and I have seen 10 or more calves-none of them were big at all:although I would not use him on a hiefer-(they are too thick.)-I have a couple pics of this years newborns and 1 or 2 from last year when I visited-that bulls the real deal-and they are STOUT-PM me an e-mail address-Ill send the info if you are interested O0

If you are wanting calving ease, I would suggest White Jazz. Gus with also through you a smaller calf, not add thickness though. Masonic Village out of elizabethtown,pa has a bull calf Jack Frost that will also work for you. Get Your Shine On and Bearcat aren't proven and don't have birthweights that will contribute to being calving ease. Also remember, whenever your wanting thickness and muscle, that really contradicts calving ease in my opinion.

TM Gus is not calving ease. He is fairly large bull and throws moderate calves that have some natural thickness. I would not call him a heifer bull. We used him on cows and had a couple assist for hips but got along okay. If you are looking to add some body Gus might be a good choice.

After Hours Reg# xAR41431
DJS SCSP Buddy Love 820 ET  Reg# AR46553 little clubby in type and kind. PHC terminal sire(JMO)
CLB Notorious ET Reg# 4082525  Have seen some nice steers out of him been a while though terminal sire (JMO)
Sin City both white but will throw some size. If the cow is deeper and moderate frame could get along okay.
Words 4W Casper Reg# AR31484 Always wanted to use this guy. Out of OCC bred bull Jake's Pride. 1995 model.

I wasnt talking about TM Gus, I was talking about EIONMOR MR GUS 80C. You do realize this member is looking for calving ease and Buddy Love, Notorious, and Sin City all have B.W's over 3.0?

YES I realize that. But its an oxymoron to try and get muscle and "butt" and safely get a CE bull.
Gus was a roan not white.
If she is looking for muscle and mass or "butt" I would suggest second calf. The only one suggested thus far - I would considered is 4127071 PLM Blanco for adding body safely.

Cloud Nine is about as easy calving as Salute-Aberteees Rock N Roll Train is another proven CE bull-and Ive seen some babys-they were like roan-white Angus calves-and got better with time-champ steer at Louisville was a Rock-train-Its all kind of conjecture anyhow since the poster has not bothered to comment back to any of the suggestions O0
