Was wondering what people thought of this shorthorn bull. What he would work well with also what is the quality of his calves like. Not overly concerned with his epds since he is a full brother to CF solution already know what most people are going to say about the epds on him lol. Thanks

I've probably fed as many of these as anyone, so I'll tell you what I think.

He's a good bull. Doesn't make them as pretty as his brothers, but will almost always add power and foot size. We had 6 Max Rosa 310 daughters; 4 solutions, one AoD, and one Cyclone. The cyclone the biggest, stoutest, biggest boned and footed out of them all. She was borderline too straight as a baby, but she moved great as a yearling. She was also maybe a little too much for some people, as far as muscling and shoulder went, but I loved her as soon as we started halter breaking her.

She ended up reserve grand at the Jr National, and one of her Solution sisters was 3rd overall.

I personally think he breeds the most different out of all of the Trump x Desert Rose 004 brothers, consistently more powerful and less refined.

Now does cyclone put some set to the rear legs on his calves or does he straighten them out some. Have a cow who has the right amount of  set to her but her calves seem to get a kinda straight. She has had a some calves off of Waco swagger and evolution. None are really bad but could use a little more angle to them.

He probably won't improve rear leg set, but I think he makes them better legged than Swagger for sure and probably also Waco. I liked Evolution as a baby but haven't seen any progeny yet. How are yours?

Really like them stout made and have some muscle shape to them. Probably going to be a little better for showring deal then what hot commodity has done.

Interesting.  I need to get over to Jason's and look at some of them, and I think we may do our Traveler x HD Ruby cow that way this summer.
