sullivan roto fluffer

I am going to get a roto fluffer to use on our feeder steers this year.  I know it really helps to stimulate and train the hair.  But which kind of roto fluffer is better.  The plastic or i think its called the rice roto fluffer.  I have heard advantages to both.  What is everyones preference and why.  Thanks

The plastic one binds up on long hair, so we use rice root one on those and plastic on the shorter hair cattle.
