Went to Iron Man  8) 8) and kids can't wait for Indiana Jones. Also Dark Knight is on our list.

Which movies are you going to see this summer?

(pop)    My family and I are going to go see both of the movies this weekend.  I can not wait to see Iron Man, I just love Robert Downey Jr., he is such a talented actor.  Which one was your favorite???

Watched "The Bucket List" a couple nights ago.  I suppose its not a summer movie as it just came out on DVD.  However, it was an inspiring-type movie.  Definately a couple tears near the end of it.  I would reccomend it.

When I was a kid I really liked the Chronicles of Narnia. I am going to see the new one that is out. The last one was great.
Would like to see Iron Man.
Like the scarey ones too but havent seen any caught my eye except Strangers. It looks kind of twisted.

National Treasure II and Indiania Jones are both on my list of must sees.  Plan on dropping a bomb and actually going to the theatre for Indiana Jones.

stan lee was  hugh hefner in iron man.  also, wait till after the credits for a suprise.  also, paltro's shoes are in the multiple of thousands and are those custom creations seen on oprah.  and she ran in them.  impressive.

also, see if you can spot the captain america shield in the office under the drawings and stuff.

Went to see speed racer last night....it was alright, but some really SLOW parts.  Didn't need to be over 2 hrs long, they could have cut out some of the stuff, it also wasn't really for small kids, some of it they enjoyed, but a lot of adult content!!  Hope you like it

I'm looking forward to the Get Smart movie. I think Steve Carrell (from The Office) will be a better Maxwell than the original.

The age my kids are, they have been talking about seeing Kung Fu Panda since about Christmas. It should be good. Jack Black is rarely bad, IMO

Iron Man question - Is it OK for my 6 yr old son? He is way in to the superheroes right now and is begging to see Iron Man. What's the content like?

Sounds like most of us think alike.  I want to see Indiana Jones, Iron Man and National Treasure 2.  We own the Indiana Jones trilogy and National Treasure.  I love movies like that.  My kids go around singing the Black Sabbath Iron Man song.
If you want a good movie to rent for kids and adults rent the Waterhorse.  I only watched the end and balled like a baby.

Anyone seen the 10,000 bc movie?

When I found out that I was going to have to go watch that movie, I was dreading it. Suprisingly, I really really liked it! It keeps you on your toes.

there's no nudity, and only slight cursing, and the only thing suggestive of sex is inuendo about starting a relationship, and therefore tension, which is always good for scripts.

lot of physics and story loopholes and hidden eggs to look for if you research ahead of time to make it fun.  stay till after the credits for a suprise.

waterhorse.  why the heck did no radios work, in the jeep and in the boat, and why weren't they shooting at him when he jumped over.  why didn't they shoot the boat as well?  how could they see the thing in the dark and in the water?  ugh.  the magic thing could have been played up a little, especially the boy breathing underwater and holding on at high speed.  ugh.
