Sunshine/Hair

  Is sun an absolute necessity for growing hair? We plan to keep them under a lean to this time of year (Jan-Feb) due to the weather with mud and tearing up our very small pasture area. They are exposed to the cold, have one shear wall to block the majority of the north wind. Use Cylence every 2 weeks to control any type of lice issue. We have a decently haired steer.. like it to stay that way.  Thanks for your time
