Watched part of it from DV. A couple were up there around $30 grand and a handful more were at $12 grand or better. Lots in the $5,000 and under. Lots for $1000 to $2000 there at the end.

I am pretty sure that at least one of the 30,000 was only half interest and possesion. There were a couple other half interest in the sale as well.

Who was the buyer?
I really like the way DV does their video broadcast of sales.  Especially the way they had the sale order listed and put up the sold price next to each lot after it went through.  Ihave never bid on their's before is it pretty simple as well?

also, why the selling of the colored cows, hw, hs, and wmw?  seems odd

To quote Greg " raising club calves isn't easy"...so why do it with less maternal genetics when you see other large firms selling the hell out of fattened up SimAngus and Simmental genetics for more money by breeding them to clubby bulls. It's easier to sleep at night when the cows are actually good cows. For the record I do not know him...just going off what we wrote in his catalog. Makes sense to me.
