Tag or No Tag

Do producers put tags in their own show string or is it too distracting. I am showing my first crop of calves that i have bred amd raised this year. My dad thinks its distracting but i think it looks good. Thoughts?

Tag em. Just make sure the tag is clean on show day!

By the time they get done with the EID tags for state and county, I don't put additional tags in any of our animals. We are running very small herd. I have no reason to tag them. I know every calf and cow family by heart. TO each their own.

We quit tagging after a high dollar heifer caught her tag and tore a huge slice in her ear .
