Any talk about going back to a live sale and holding it a viable location (dfw metroplex) as opposed to out in the middle of nowhere (eastland)? A lot of good cattle across the state and no formal outlet whatsoever for them.  I think the success the revival sale had in Oklahoma last year made it glaringly obvious that the lack of success with the texas sales in the past has had more to do with the haphazard promotion of the sale as opposed to a lack of regional buyers.

Mark- I do have a panama red cow I bought a few years back online. Will have to see who it says I got her from.

Yes we are trying to get it back to a live sale. We are just taking baby steps as some of the breeders are leary of consigning animals because in the end we had numbers but quality wasn't always there and it kinda of hit hard as people don't want other peoples trash per say. It has been a long road trying to get consigners. We are getting there though. Just trying to work with what we have right now

My panama red cow//// Cumberland Pass was the dam of Stella by Studley-I bred pass in 1994 I think. She was out of SBF Cumberland-a full sib to Traildriver.and she had stella who I bought in 1999-she was sired by Studley and the third hi seller of the breed or something One of her daighters was a two time all American etc named Stacy-who had Panama Red the Panama heifer Mueller sold was bred by me as well as her dam-Her dam was Ub  LGS Maid -who was second at the national jR Show
She was a paternal sister to Stacy-who started winning and wasnt showed again-she was a good cow so even though your cow may not be a barn burner-shes a CumberlandXfull sib to DMCC ltd Edition-by double bred Kab Ba rose x57th picture perfect x Sagebrush etc..-Somehow when Mueller had the sale-He registered some to Andy Grathwahl-all of the shorts were out of my cows. Panama just didnt knick as good as he looked-but a couple commercials sure made good low bw cows. your cows number-  4145361    I lost the decent pictures heres a terrible picture of her not long after weaning      O0

Thats her dont know how I saved the wrong number-shes the only registered daughter of him-I always thought a Red Reward like Little Cedar final 4 (with Sonny and Canadian) would really work on her, or something oldschool clubby. Her great grandmother-Stella broke her right shoulder and raised twins for first calves- Stacy and Tracy-Stacy Panamas dam ended up the show heifer-her first calf ended up a herd bull in Ks too.  O0

This is her pedigree. She brought good in my opinion. I am happy. She was a calm gentle cow. Was nothing wrong with her just wanted to consign good stuff to the sale.
