Texas steer show judges & dates for Ft. worth steer show 2011

The Forth Steer show is the last week of the show - in this case the week of the 31st with steers showing on the 3rd and 4th. It's Super Bowl week in Arlington. You are going to be paying $300 plus per night for your hotel rooms at a minimum. Only alternative to pay less is to stay further away from Fort Worth (probably in the Weatherford or Cleburne areas - about 30 minutes away).
Talked to some people from the Arlington area. They are renting houses out for the weekend for a mere $10,000!! I about chroked. Good thing the hotel my friends stayed in informed them, at checkout, to rebook for next year. Might contact the TJLA office for the rest of the dates.
The hotel we stay at in Fort worth refused to let us book rooms for next year as we checked out. All of the major hotels were making everyone wait till March-April when they decided what their rates were going to be.
Luckily we have some relatives in Fort Worth we are going to intrude on to avoid that cost.
It wouldn't take a group of he**raisers long to do $10,000 of damage to house during a week of partying.

Those people are really thinking about doing it! They figure if you have that sort of money to toss around, you should be upstanding people. Then I got to thinking of my house and what they could/could not hurt. Not sure they could do that much damage!! HAHA
