I've seen a lot of calves out of Polled Hereford bull, Bailout, and I really like them, especially his heifers. Just wondering if anyone has seen any Bailout daughters as cows, and if so, how were their udders? Most of his calves are pretty clean fronted, so I'm assuming he would clean up a cow with a wasty front end. Does anyone have experience with this? He has some horned blood in his pedigree, do you know if he tends to throw horns and scurs, or are majority of his calves still polled? I would be breeding him to Polled Hereford females. He's got an 84 lb birth weight, does anyone have experience using him on heifers? Lots of questions! If you can answer any of them that would really help me!

PR 144U Ramona 0003 is a bailout daughter owned by langfords.  There is a pic of her in this months hereford world advertising a son of hers 20/20 Vision.  Nice looking cow!

His daughters that I have seen all have nice udders.  His sire Bismarck is known to stamp his females with flawless udders.  I would not use him on heifers as his birthweight has went from low 3 to mid 4's after more use.  On the front end you must have seen some RARE Bailouts then.  That is actually one of his biggest faults in that they tend to be a little wastier up front.  I would not use him on a wasty fronted female.

Thank You for the information, it really helps me out! Would either of you have pictures of cows out of him? I tried looking up Ramona, but I couldn't find any pictures.

If you go to www.hereford.org and click on HW magazine at the top it will open this months issue.  The bull calf is about 18 pages deep, his name is 20/20 vision...ramona's picture is on the right side.

Thank You very much! She's a real good looking cow, and I really like her bull calf!
