My apologies for the late response, I have been on my annual family vacation and I don't take any electronic devices with, only a phone for the office to get hold of me, at lunch time, only in case of emergency!

That weather of yours looks pretty grim, I had a great vacation, most days sunny and over 25 degrees (Celsius), except for about 250mm of rain over 48 hours last Wednesday and Thursday!  I will post some pictures when I have downloaded them from my camera.

I did sneak off on Friday for a 640km (400 mile) round trip to start my CIDR programme, 22 suitable out of 25 checked!  Cattle were looking excellent.  Also dehorned some calves, this needs to stop!

The weather has been a challenge this year but it has been even worse in a lot of places across Nort America. I know parts of Saskatchewan got a heavy wet snow yesterday. We had snow on the weekend but ours all melted yesterday. Snow seems like a a small problem when you read about the devastating tornadoes happening in the US.(is this not early for tornadoes?)
