Recieved a phone call this morining that Tom Filipi passed away this morning.  Not sure of exact cause: Heart attack or anerism.

My prayers and thoughts go out to the whole Filipi family.  Tom has been well known in the Nebraska circles for raising good show cattle, he was a darn good fitter, his kids are very successful in the show pig circles as well.  Great guy and alot of fun to be around.  Another big loss to all that knew him.  He was a good friend of Kent H as well.  They're probably checking out that next great one together right now!

so sorry. I've never heard of him in Ohio but am sure he was a good cattleman.
With all these good cattle people gone I'm sure the Colonel (Stanley Stout) will have a lot of company.

Cathy, I'm pretty sure Tom had a lot in the Frozen Gold Sale, last year in Ohio.

we've always been so tired from working w/ our sale cattle we've never made it.
I'll look up the catalog from the last sale.
