I usually put a few pics up at this time of the year for comment. Shows are two months out and the cattle are still pretty green but are eating well. Both are 16 months the hfr is by Ironstone and the Bull by an Aussie Sire Dylemma Radar.

The hiefer is way better on her top line than the bulland shes standing downhill-She is a VERY GOOD Angus female. The bull has some thickness-but rolls a little towards pins-hooks-and has some shoulder(unless its the way hes standing) O0

I really like the looks of your heifer! From what I can see, I have nothing to pick apart on her.

I'm not as crazy about the bull, he cuts up too high in his flank for me, but still looks to have lots of capacity.

Good luck at your shows!

Thanks for your comments. A few points I had not noticed on the bull and hoping with some more feed he might smooth out some more.

I like the heifer a lot.  She has great lines, and is super feminine looking.  The bull looks thick, but just kind of piecey.  All the parts are there, but just doesn't quite tie them together in a smooth package.  Should be a good breeder though.

Give that bull a good hoof trimming and then I would like to see his picture, it won't help everything but it's sure going help. That is a really nice heifer.

Good Luck!!

Get another pic of that bull mate. I think he is better then his pic. My friend Aussie here has an eye for cattle. He wouldn't be developing this bull if he didn't like him.  <beer>

Always good to get feedback good and bad. Pleased everyone likes the hfr.  (thumbsup) On the bull I will post some more pics when he is a bit further along. With out making excuses I think he may better that the pics but you can only judge what you can see. I put pics here for feedback and am happy to get all comments. He has just had his front shaved so not as smooth looking as he could be. Yes he is still high in the flank not as smooth over the top line as I would like. Mtnman he would be one of the better footed bulls around good depth of heel and straight hoofed but as you can see from the hfr pic It is very wet here and hard when by yourself to get them to stand properly. Again not making excuses and thanks for taking the time to comment

Telling the judge how he broke the calf. Not only did he win this in the breed class the calf reared and hit him hard in the head knocking him over but he did not let go just got up and kept going.

Really like the feet and leg design on your bull. You would be hard pressed to find something equivalent in that department in North America. You Aussies have always been keen in that area. Like some of the other comments, he could be put together a little different from the front of loin to tailhead but that is more about aesthetics, IMO. Very nice functional looking bull from pics. Heifer is pretty with a great look. Also, extremely nice.
