Got a hereford (Revolution) out of a Heatwave x Strickly Business cow. Was thinking about Special Delivery....semen didn't come in. Then we thought about Boomer. Then I find out I can get some Who Made Who. And that just got me excited. The heifer is alot thicker and deeper than in her picture now. That was taken last sept. I will get a new one up soon. The only thing I don't like about her and I like moderate framed cows is she is going to be short! Hopefully with that hereford in there I can keep the calves sound and the steers will show and the heifers will make some momma's! Both the heifer and the cow are as sound as you need them as far as I can tell but let me here some opinions. Maybe someone will change my mind........Thanks

With the heifer pictured here is what I see out of WMW.
He won't give you a ton of bone. Will give you some hair. Have to watch soundness and can make one straight on both ends in a hurry. When you get a good one especially a cow they are GOOD. WMW has some Hereford in him belive it or not. You could get some color out of him if that doesn't bother you. My favorite thing about WMW is the front ends. he has always seemed to clean up front ends for us. Would like to see some updated photos of your female.
If you don't mind me asking, why did you choose to flush her? Was she a show heifer or just a great momma cow? I know flushing has become more reasonable now a days. What makes her "flush" material. Just curious. I debate this all the time with myself.

She is going to be shown at county fair anyway. WMW has lil herf in him huh? Never knew that. Mostly I have seen him take color away but if the calves are good color sure won't hurt them any around my parts. I will get an updated pic asap just been super busy but she is thick as you'd want a heifer and I'm not scared of putting a clubby bull on her as sound as she is but yes I know sometimes you just end up with a dud. Only thing is she is just a tick shorter than I'd like her to be.

I choose to flush her right now as a virgin heifer because it's alot easier now then when she has a calf on her for the facilities that I got now. I am going to have to freeze most of  them (if she makes any)  and I have a bunch of beef x dairy recips to use next year so that's why I wanted to use a fairly easy calving bull. And for other recips most of what I have is just plain ole stock cows that I think if this WMW flush works I could make a lil more change on them cows carrying them eggs. Just want to generate some income and sell a few clubby calves and to make it you got to spend it! And her momma is a dang nice cow so what the heck. Guy has to take a chance every now and then! Thanks for the help OH Breeder!

Nice hfr  <beer>            but I have to disagree when I bred her for this flush I thought she looked to me like she is going to be a pretty big cow  (argue)
