Bull calf is E6 Big Iron. He will be weaned and registered this month. Born last March. 84 pound BW. Defect free by pedigree. Saskvalley Alamo x Leveldale Righteous x Alliance 7125

We have several Alamo sons for sale. His daughters are all being retained at this point here.

Nice calves! If I didn't have a pile of embryos out of an Alamo granddaughter that I was planning on building my herd with, I'd probably be planning a trip down there this year to look for a herd sire  <beer>

Nice. I had no idea you had a granddaughter. Alamo’s EPD’s put him top 4% of every dollar index. I think he’s a useful bull and semi proven now. Cody Nelson is getting him collected soon so semen will hopefully be available to anyone who wants to sample him. I have four or five calves that will make bulls this year and will be for sale. I also have the two Alamo sons we retained last year for use. One injured his leg pretty bad but seems to have rounded the corner and is doing well now.

Glad to see some folks appreciate a commercial type shorthorn. These Canadian cattle still have the ability to thrive in that sector. They really do well here in Ohio and the crossbred calves out of the angus and commercial cows really grow and look good doing it. Thanks for the comments and feedback
