Thanks buddy. He's a Wolf Ridge Red Commander x FSF Proud Leader x RB Eagle 226 x RS 034's dam.

I'd say that's a outcross heifer bull. His dam is a little cow. This was her first calf. She may weigh 1k pounds but weaned him off over 500 pounds.

They are looking good Brock and are continuing to develop well and are presented in these pictures in very honest condition.It appears that Red Commander has more to offer than just calving ease and an out cross pedigree with the data that has been collected so far.The Red Commander son that Paint Valley had at Denver had the Largest REA and one of the highest IMF's if not the highest of all of the PVF pen bulls including the champion pen of 5.Red Commander's growth epds in the last sire summary jumped better than 20% with his first calf crop while maintaining his position in the top 1% of the breed for CED.

I'm very happy with my Red Commanders. They are very calm around me. They got out a month or so ago and they were trying to breed every cow. Made me laugh. They for sure have some libido! I wasn't aware of the carcass data yet. I'll keep one of these Bulls to breed on and if I don't sell the others Asher's Bulls, they will all go to freezer beef. I wish the butchers around here gave you carcass data back or even a live weight. But all I get is a hanging weight. Pretty frustrating until I have enough calves for a pot load it's just the way it goes.

I agree! Plenty of black cows out there, potential buyers are the trick.

Here is a picture of a Wolf Ridge Red Commander heifer at 12 months to give you an idea of what the females look like.There is a pretty good video of her on the Paint Valley website.
