Hey everyone, here is a photo I took of my heifer yesterday. She is just over 13 months old and is out of Monopoly.
Any thoughts? Also, I am trying to deepen her flank, Ive been using wet beetpulp...do any of you know of anything good for that? Thanks

she looks like a steer to me.  is she bred to an angus bull for her first calf or are you going to wait to breed her?

I think she is little on the masculine side as Knabe pointed out. BUT, I would think about pelvic measurements on her. That would be first and foremost. With her structure and visual appearance it just indicates more masculine build. she may be fine and have plenty of room to calve. if you find that to be the case, there are alot of calving ease choices besides straight angus. There are good Shorthorn, Maine, simmi and Galloway choices.
As far as her flank, that is a tough one. I think structurally you have done about all you can do with feeding.
