thoughts-- doesn't look much bigger than a mini Hereford...  Wonder if he's any bigger than 40" @ the hip???

I bet he'd make some KILLER baldies out of mini herf mamas.... but what would you do with them?  I wonder if they'd qualify CAB??? ;)

He's a full sib to Walks Alone. He was in Denver last Jan. There were special early online semen sales on him last spring. I personally like him better than Walks Alone. I think that he is more balanced looking. That being said, I have not used either bull yet.

how can you tell his height from any of these pics?  Did I miss some point of reference other than that rope angle?  And for all we know it could be tied to the top of a light pole.  Just wondering because I always have a hard time telling cattle size from pics unless there is a fence/panel/person in the pic

have you ever seen the bulls on display at denver?

Is that bull twice as tall as the divider panels?  I'm guessing not...

He was a calf. The pics were taken in the summer. He was born March of 2010. So probably 4-5 months old in the pics?

I guess I am confused by reading your "new" name about clubbies as to why you would choose to contribute to this thread?

BIM is not really all that new...he is a March 2010 bull that was in Denver in January and got quite a bit of hype.  A lot of people liked him a lot, and I know a lot of people used him this spring so we shouldnt have to long to wait to see how he does.  My personal opinion, he is ok, I wasnt wowed by anything that was in Denver this year, so we will wait and see how his calves do.  I dont think he is necessarily a midge, but I do think he is to small for where I think the industry is headed, does that mean he has no use, absolutely not there are plenty of huge framed cows out there that need to be downsized.  So just wait and see how he produces, because I will also say I was never really impressed with HeatWave or Monopoly when they were promoted, but they have sure proven themselves as producers, no arguing with that.
