Kryptonite looks pretty good & seriously, if he's got some calving ease, he might be the way to go.

I know you wont do it this time & I can't blame you, but if you do decide on a Shorthorn Plus, here is your huckleberry!  ;)

I don't think that I want any more % Shorthorn calves next year.  1/3 of our projected calf crop will already be ShorthornPlus or Mainetainer.

P.S. Sorry for the huge picture...

He's not bad looking except I sure don't like the way his testicles are twisted.

TJ-  Kryptonite is a pretty dang good bull.  He was owned by my neighbors that I've been tellin you about.  The bull lived literally 3 miles from me. I've been around him, his calves, and his daughters with calves.  He is proven on heifers, and he's a pretty nice bull................Doc will get his chance on Shorthorns, but probably not on this one quite yet.

Doc-  Good point.  I'm not going to say that his testicles were perfect, but pictures can be deceiving.

If that is the case...

Kryptonite gets my vote!

You're right , he could have just moved his leg & caused them to swing.
Russell Sloan bought a cow fron Leemon's that the Leemons ( or Paynes, can't remember) bought in Rocker's cow herd dispersal, then later, brought her to Harrison, AR to the Arkansas State Shorthorn Sale. The cow was sired by Butterfield Able Seaman, and was bred to Kryptonite. Out of a cow that huge, the calf was super-thick, masculine, and, soggy, and, only had a BW of 85 +/-  pounds.
I've said it on here before, but, IMHO, Kryptonite was one of the best Trump sons born. Examine his Louisville photo. He looks more like a Beef Bull than anything else campaigned during that era.

GB- See, this is one of the time's when we're on the COMPLETE same page.  Kryptonite is the real deal, and he can sire heifers that have success on the tanbark.  Is he one of those kind of bulls that you think could have done well in the commercial and show worlds?  It's too bad that he died so young...  Do you think he would work in a linebreeding situation i.e. Kryptonite back on a Sonny daughter?

I used ALM Surf on my heifers and was pleased with the calving ease, no assistance was needed. I would suggest him, he is older but seems to work well. Actually sold a show calf out of him and our double stuff heifer. Also is TH and PHA free a plus!  :)
