What are you all's thoughts on Mike Martin's new bull Tsunami?  Anyone use him this spring?  We used him on a few heifers.

seems like a lot of new bulls pedigree wise, ie sooner on 1/2 bloods.

he looks nicer from the gut forward than most of the others in the sale, especially through the withers, neck and isn't pencil necked and too thick through his throat.  i would like to see more length of hip and expression of quarter.

gvc is one of my favorite breeders.

it's a different tsnumai.  it's not gvc tsnumai.  i think the bull pictured could still use some hip and is short coupled for me, which may make him look longer hipped than he is, at least for me.

decent bull.

I've seen him he has plenty of hip!  Especially on the two sunseekers I bred him to,  I mean for a first calf heifer you ant the calf to come out with out splitting her wide open!

No one has really said he was calving ease yet.   But with the way he was bred and him having a 75lb birthweight we figured we would try it.
