Have a good heifer out of a shorthorn cow,  big enough, correct on the wheels,  not round made and has some real cow possibilities,  her mother too big.  I'm happier with him than mab.

I have only had one so take it for what it is worth. 125lbs bull that was a structural nightmare. Big shoulders and his back broke really bad behind shoulders. To bad because I really like the looks of two tone.

I have to chime in here.  I have been around 5 Two Tone steers and I'm telling you they were the craziest, meanest, take you out calves I ever been around in my life.  All were out of puppy dog gentle cows.  Coincidence?  Maybe, but the common denominator was their sire was Two Tone.  They were pretty good looking, hairy, wide tops, moderate but you couldn't pay me to take one of them.  My daughters steer would have made any Mexican fighting bull look like a puppy.  I'm serious that mean.
Here was a picture of him right before he donkey kicked my 6ft, 250 pound ass and knocked me out.  I wish I could have personally ate him.  There are a ton of other bulls I would try before him.  Be safe and good luck.

Ours wasn't crazy or mean by any way shape or form. Alittle stubborn but nothing that more work would take care of.

I only had one last year and it was one of my best calves. The only thing it lacked was hair. He would have worked great for Texas shows. He was out of a moderate, soft made cow and he's an absolute puppy dog! He's sound, big topped, lots if muscle shape,  smooth fronted. Should be a great fat steer if the family takes care of him. I have 2 more coming beginning of March.

I saw 2 tone summer of 2012 at Hawkeye.  Bull had a great personality. He'd come up to the gate and let you pet him. One of the guys that worked there went in the pen with him so I could watch him walk and he would jump around and act playful with the guy. It was kinda funny to see a big ole bull jump around and play like that.

I had 5 in my 2013 calf crop, 3 steers and 2 heifers, none of them had a real attitude problem. All 3 of the steer were shown and competitive. We were happy with everything except hair, good frame, power and structure. 1 of the 3 steers went on to be reserve champion bred and fed at our county fair.

We had a Two Tone steer this year.  My youngest daughter showed him with no problems.  He was very clean fronted, long necked and had plenty of muscle.  He had lots of hair but we showed him slick.  He won the English Div. as a light weight (1220), then went on to win Reserve Grand MS. Bred Over All at the Dixie National. He produced lots of Smiles for her!

Really dislike our two tone calves.  Very unsound, bad temperament, and very odd looking.  Some turn out to be stub nosed and have monkey mouth. Probably going to get his semen out of the tank.
