Umbarger Feed

Toured the Umbarger Feed plant while at National FFA Convention and wow was I impressed. Super nice folks. Family owned, and every employee I spoke with flat knows feed. Get a chance stop and visit them in Bargersville, IN. It was a nice tour, and they answered all the feed questions we had.

It's been ten years since I fed showsteers but this was the best feed we used.  My son had champion steer at Tennessee junior livestock expo and Knoxville grand champion.  Both these shows were terminal shows.  We used the blaster feed (corn based) until the last sixty days and fed the barley based the last sixty days for a smooth, firm finish.  It got the job done. The feed will be consistent.
