update on down heifer

Hey Everyone,
Thanks for all your replies. I am happy to report that the heifer is up and standing on her own. She was down for 2 weeks and we started using the hip lift and now she can stand alone and is now able to get herself up on her own (until we got some mud finally)! She has one back leg that is real weak and that was her problem. I think she will make a full recovery.

Congrats! Who said hard work doesn't pay. Mud in western Kansas? Never heard of it.   I do hope she continues to recover for you.
