Vitaferm's Sure Start Pellets

Has anyone used this Vitaferm product before?  If so, what was the ration that you used it in?  Did you like the way the calves did.

Love it, fed 1/2 lb, twice daily as directed.

I think you are talking about Sure Champ pellets?  I feed that to our show calves but I am asking about Sure Start pellets.  They are to be fed with grains/forages to reduce weaning stress, etc. 

We have used Vita Ferm products exclusively at Ficke Cattle Co for 5 years. The Receiver 5 lb product has really worked well for weaning, as we have our own Corn to mix with it. We also give each calf a blast of Vita Charge paste when they get their shots and weighed on the first day, dribble some Sure Champ pellets on the top of the Receiver 5 and Corn so the smell draws them to the bunk and put out Power Kegs for the calves to lick. After the first 2 years of complete Vita Ferm products, because at first they are consuming more to make up any deficiencies (on the mineral side), our feed bill is lower now than when we were using other cheaper products.
