The two calves i had were in the 85-90 lb range but the heifer was real stout, the bull was a not quite as stout as the heifer but still plenty thick, they can be seen on Wade's Blog under "Walks  Alone happy customer"

I have had two out of Angus cows. 1 was born a week early and weighed about 60lbs and is 2nd stoutest calf we have. The second was born 1 day late and weighed about 80Lbs, havn't seen it since the day it was born but it wasnt quite as stout but very correct. Both calves have no structure issues.

If your wanting to raise winners ,he is one to use it looks like to me ...WE used a hoodoo bred Charolais  cow that had extra bone and thickness and we had a cecerian
had 4 others that some needed help ..... ALSO had some MONOPOLYS out of a bigger boned cow with added capacity ,and quite a few hip locked (5-6) but basiclly just got a hold of them in pasture and tugged and they came right out ....Like many of the guys on SP have said if your playing to win you will have some of these ,...

I AM very excited about these 20 head of calves, got more heifers than bull calves ....

I little off the subject, but I am wanting to breed walks alone to my Harrietta grand daughter. What is the earliest you would breed her. she was just in, and would have been a Jan 14th calf, I thought for me that was a bit early. Iam thinking Late fed / early march?
Is she a heifer still?
