This goes back to a question Ozraptor asked about the typical cost of semen. I was curious on what is the most expensive bull semen out there? This is for prices right now.

george was probably sterile, due to no semen testing at the time, made a lot of money that first year.
jefferson, ugh, no comment
lincoln probably had a few defects
garfield, like a lot of bulls was assanitated to inflate his price, but unbeknownst to many modern breeders, has traits in demand today.  luckily his price today is more approachable

another undiscovered bull is the great alexander hamilton, but his papers were unclear so he was never registered in any breed organization.

i saw a set of eggs that were Bill x Hillary, full sibs to Chelsea, with lots of potential moral defects for $3k.  the George x Barbara, ful sibs to Jeb & W, with all the potential intelectual defects, were $6k.  apparently republicans still have more money in the war chest.

hey shorthorn r us

perfect metaphor exposing that the real problem is us in that we keep electing the infrastructure locally that perpetuates this BS.  distributed capital, property rights and enforcement of contracts, both implied and real, is basically the foundation of the country.  we are too scared to run ourselves, cuz we don't allow enough salary to cover our current costs, and when we do, there are too many lifetime benefits.  we are discouraging anyone from running who is not affiliated with the sellers of doom and slavery.

I'm assuming the clinton side is self-explanatory.

I won't post any more on politics for a while.  those two sites are kinda fun at exposing how silly we are as a voting public.  It all starts locally.  get involved.

I think the cheapest your going to find CF Trump is $1300.
And I know CA Future Direction (angus) is super high dollar IF you can find it. Anyone know a price on it?

Whats the traveler 23-4 worth. I found some in a jug. I was told his sons were better than him. That is what made him a great breeding bull.

high brow cat is $25,000, a cutting horse stud.  several others are approaching that, with thoroughbreds eclipsing that with another 0 sometimes.

I remember hearing that a unit of holstein semen from a bull nnamed ABC Reflection Sovergein sold at an auction in
Canada back in the 1960's for $150,000 by a family named Roman who were Canadian Provincial Governors at that time. They thawed the unit. A glass ampule and placed it on their fireplace mantel as a conversation piece. I have not been able to find anything on the net to verify this as this was well before the internet age.

Basin Rainmaker 654x or Traveler 124 GDAR. They run between $1,500 and $2,000 per unit, if you can find it. Some of the Wye plantation bulls will command a high dollar, but I am not a big fan of those genetics. Some of the bucking bull semen is tremendously high, also.
