Clipped our PB bull yesterday. Here's a recent picture of him. I'd appreciate some feedback. He's showing in the open shorthorn show at NWSS and will be displayed on the hill.
He's out of SS Cowboy Up and High Roller on the Dam side. His mom won county fair, Grand Champion Shorthorn Heifer at Colo State Fair and the next year won reserve with this guy by her side at three weeks old.

o.k. guys, what's the right of passage to get initiated into the s.p. club?????? I know I've unfortunately been dubbed a "newbie" but I feel like the new kid on the block that no one will share their ice cream with :O).
We're just down to earth good folks who happen to live somewhere between the west and midwest looking for a little camaraderie.
We started into this club calf thing about 7 years ago for our daughter. She's a senior now and we are going to continue to breed and hopefully be able to auction off the calves in the fall. I would love to be able to get some advise here and there on what you all think has worked and what you think of the animals we've bred.
I'd be willing to do anything short of eating a steaming cow pie to feel the love!!!!

AJ , I looked on an earlier post & he is THF & PHAF. I'm like AJ & would like some data on him. He looks pretty good & sure has changed a bunch from his state fair picture. I like his depth of body & like how clean he is underneath. He's got a pretty popular pedigree for a lot of people. He ought to work for someone.  :)

he looks like he has some thickness and guts to him. I agree that the clubbie crowd may not think he is freaky enough, but freaky is what I consider an unnatural state. This looks like a bull that is real world good and real world useful. I will check him out in Denver.

I feel so much better, thanks for the love!!!!
His registered name is RR Ricky Bobby 22T and his registration number is X4130829 there's a bunch of statistics on shorthorn.org
I should have taken a rear end pic of him too. He's really wide and for those of you who are into this info he has a huge scrotum circumference
He is very smooth fronted and deep gutted. I think he would work for either show calf breeding or a good solid herd bull.
He has matured a lot since state fair. His mom just had a beautiful all white heifer out of Deadwood on the 5th. He's got a good temperament. Not pushy or mean spirited.
If you're in Denver please stop by. We'd love to meet you.
Our sign at our stall says Box 6 Rawson Ranch Larkspur CO. We'll be coming in late on the 16th and stay through the 19th. Colorado is home to us so we'll show you some home town hospitality :O)

# of Posts required for each status, we should probably have some more ranks for over 1000, 2000, and 5000

Looks like a pretty good bull--I'll look forward to seeing him in Denver.    Cowboy Up is owned by our friends the Nelson's who live just up the road from us.  He's a pretty darn good bull!!

Please tell the Nelson's that Kevin and Patti Rawson say hi!
They are super nice people. Do you know if they are planning on coming to Denver?
We have a friend who used Cowboy Up and got a bull he sold in NE. They are great bulls. We only live on 15 acres though and have 20 cows. We have our other bull RR Tommy Boy and now that Ricky Bobby is getting bigger we just don't have a place to put him. I hope someone realized his potential and he goes to a good home.
My husband told me that Len has Ricky Bobby on his website!
