I thought this was a different kinda subject, that could be entertaining to see what everyone's favorite goal in life is? Mine since I am a 14 year old girl I would like to buy a ranch of my own and raise top show calves and top Quarter horses.

(clapping)  I think this is something many of us are hoping to get to....  I should add that I hope my sanity is still intact when if I make it to that point.

To be known by what I've done, not who I am, by leading all I can to accept the redemption that Jesus has offered us.

Please PM me if you want to know Him.  Believing in Him is Not enough!

Thanks for this thread FFF.

FFF, I noticed this post this morning and have given it some thought today... I am one of the older guys now but still think about goals... from a cattle standpoint I am still working on raising the best Maine Heifer I can afford.... I have been slowly trying to improve my genetics with what I am willing to budget towards that end .... from a personal standpoint I want to be the best man I can be, I have been slowly trying to improve my behavior and faith.Although it will always be a work in progress my deepest wish is  that I could live a life to demonstrate that Jesus lives in my heart  I strongly believe what Wesley said... spread the faith always... only if needed use words... (certainly a paraphrase)

Patience, Love, compassion, generosity, honesty, reliability, ..... buddy ... NOW those are some goals...

You do realize that ranch is almost 4 million bucks?

Yes, of course! This price is nothing compared to other properties around here. It still is alot though and just means a tonne of hard work and even more luck for me to attain my goal.

To live a life that is pleasing to God and to have faith in Him in everything that i do. That is the only thing that is important, if we do this everything else will fall into place.

To do the best I can each day with what I have.

I say this to myself each day:

Lord- grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, change the things I can, and have the wisdom to know the difference.

Good thread! :)

We survived raising 4 children. Youngest one had her last year of 4-H this past summer. Our goal is to breed a few good club calves every year so we can sale in the fall. Also.................this is a first...............my husband, my daughter and I each picked a heifer calf to work with that we are going to show at NWSS. I've never been in the ring before, guess I have to put my money where my mouth has been for the past 9 years!!! Can't wait to be critiqued by my daughter who's won grand champ. showmanship numerous times  <party>

Pretty much mine too.... Know God better than I do today and hope my children and grandchildren have as good of a life or better than I have, and hopefully live healthy long enough to see it.

Oh... and to be able to market & sell some of those 4 Mil dollar ranches!  And be able to hold onto my little one...  (lol)

As a little kid it was to own a Dodge truck and work at Hardees! (clapping) Now that I have a Dodge Charger, I am half way there!! LOL.

Find a career, not a job.
Get back to my roots and get out of a "neighborhood" and back to a small town.
Make someone smile each day, anyway I can.
Cattle related.... Win Denver Hereford show again, but with my resources doing all the work, not just my arms doing all the brushing:)
And, remember who put me here and why He did it.
