Some of the other forums I participate in have some form of a what are you listening to now thread, so I thought we might give it a try here.  It's always fun to know what others are listening to, and maybe learn about some new stuff we might like.  We don't need lyrics or links to videos, just a song and/or album title and the artist,  maybe a little discussion.  It can be whatever's playing at the moment, the CD you've been listening to in the barn or in your truck, or just the song that's been stuck in your head all day.  Like this -

Resurrection  -  Bleu Edmondson

I have my Ipod im my truck, so I listen to lots of stuff, but I always listen to Brand New.  They are just awesome.  All through their albums, you can see how the band grows and changes, and it's really cool.  I would suggest them to anyone.  Their latest cd kind of focuses on the lead man's struggle with finding his religion and his relationship with God.  I wouldn't call them a Christian band, but they have some strong references to the Bible and faith.

I've also been listening to MGMT (Formerly called "The Management")...they're kind of like psychedelic/funk/pop-rock.  If you're a flower child, or like stuff that's not mainstream, you might like them.

Cool.  I listen to all different kinds of stuff, too, but right now, mostly red dirt and classic rock.  Like you guys, my ipod has enough diverse stuff on it to make your head spin.  At the moment, I'm just listening to some stuff I have ripped to my computer waiting to put on my ipod (I don't get around to that very often), and it's mostly red dirt - Bleu, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Randy Rogers, Jason Boland, Reckless Kelly...

This Time Around - Cross Canadian Ragweed

I listened to CCR the whole time I was up at Duis' working their sale, and I really started to like them.  That's the kind of country-ish music I can get into.

I keep XM on in the truck and I've been spending a lot of time on the Led Zepplin channel (channel 39) and the AC/DC channel (53). Both play nothing but those bands, and you get to hear some good rare songs.

I normally listen to just about anything country, but here lately I have been listening to a christian cd a lot, The Psalms Project by Seth Gilbert.

Well, I'm home right now working on my website and sending out some email blasts so I cranked up my downloaded music on my iTunes on my Mac and right now "Desperado", by the Eagles, is playing.
