What brings you to steer planet?

I thought it would be interesting to see what brings people to steer planet.

The reason i come to steer planet is to get helpful information so i can produce the best cattle I can.

i came to steer planet to learn more about shorthorns, i am new to the breed, but not to showing or breeding, i stay because you guys are so great!!!!!!!!!

now a days its more about keeping up with people who have been here since the beginning. back when i didnt know as much , it was to ask questions

Learning, Learning, Learning.

And buying. There are not a lot of club calves around us so looking here will hopefully pay off.

I enjoy actually talkin cows to people that give a crap. Around me, nobody cares or wants to talk cows, they just want to eat them.
Where else can you talk to cattle folks form the land down under, europe, canada, and all over the good ol usa.
Steer Planet. What a great idea. Just wish I would have thought about it first!

I come to see what AJ thinks of JIT's latest post and vice versa.  Sometimes its a soap opera, sometimes a sit com, and sometimes a hard fought game of opinions.  It's better than television  (thumbsup).

SP gives me a  great opportunity to learn about the industry in other parts of the world.  Lots of show tips from some of the best. Have discussions on the industry and hearing another point of view  both (argue) and  (thumbsup). Getting to know some great people which when I get over there will hopefully meet.

To talk and read about all aspects of show cattle. Love it.

I first came to learn as much as I could from diferent people, now I get on to talk cattle both show and commercial.  Also for the most part the people on here police themselves very well as far as what is said and how it is said to make sure that anyone can get one here and that it isn't just another place that anyone that can type can write anything they want. 

Red invited me as well ! Just glad I had a chance to meet her ........... SP would be different if she was still with us ......

To learn about steers and ask questions!

Red wanted me to be a moderator on here. I came over here from the other board. For a time the only place to get genetic defect info was on the boards. Back then people were trying to figure out.....or hide the genetic defect stuff. DL was a god send in the deal. now her and Doc Beevers have been demonized on the board and alot of the genetic defect stuff has been figured out.

Also...I didn't think this site had a chance since it was a start up board and there were like 15 people registered as users. Wow......look at it now.

A breeder friend showed me the site at the Iowa State Fair! 
After I got back to life after the fair, I checked it out and love the threads.  I have learned things, connected with other breeders, and love the Classifieds!  Another outlet to promote my stock and to see what is available.
I even have made my first successful find from the classifieds!  I got a super heifer that I would not have probably found without it!

im here because yall are the only people that i talk to that actually understand the show cattle industry and dont take it as a joke. i learn alot from all you guys
