I am planning on flushing 3 cows this year. I have been out of the show cattle business for a while so I would like some opinions on which bulls to use.
Cows I plan to flush:
1. registered Angus cow. This cow crosses really well with Irish Whiskey. What are some good alternatives to Irish Whiskey?
2. Who made who daughter. This cow has crossed well in the past with Saugahatchee 3000. I'm just not sure what direction I want to go now???
3. Irish Whiskey daughter out of a Meyer 734 cow. Opinions Please???

What are the "hot" bulls in the industry right now?

Hot bulls I have noticed are MAB, Hi Ho Silver, Yellow Jacket, Monopoly and lots of others.

Seeking heifers or steers?

I'll be the first to ask for pix to better plan matings.

Carrier status on your cows?  That should rule out many bulls if the cows are carriers.

I would keep the Angus Angus.    A good Angus heifer is easy to sell for big $.  Silvieras Style is good as are some Dameron bulls.

Good luck=

Cerveza breeds similar to Irish Whiskey (His sire) and works well on Angus cows. For clubbies Walks Alone works well but the cow must be extremely sound.
