I personally have seen lots of cattle shows some had very good judging and some not so good. I've never seen such a wreck at a major cattle show. JMO

only thing i didnt like about the show this year was that i wasnt there for it!

i do like the calf that won- because in july me and a fellow planeteer (showqueen95) sat down and talked about who was going to win the majors, and i said stock's calf from the beltbuckle would win ft worth  ;D lucky guess, but in that sense i like the choice

Yeah I saw that calf at the Belt Buckle and thought he looked the part for sure!!! I figured he would be in the hunt but sometimes things happen and I hadnt seen him in a long time so didnt know if he held together or not

The judge hacked a lot of people off because he was very fast, pulled almost every calf off the walk on the way in, and usually only pulled 10 calves.  I didnt care for him too much till my son ended up 4th in Class 9.

Seriously, most judges at FW give each calf a longer look.  You had to catch his eye on the way in.

From what I saw movement didn't mean much to him! I personally saw him pick calves on the walk that missed their stride by six inches! He picked a herf that literally drug it's back foot! Several high placing calves and one class winner that I know of that was buckin over on the front! Was the Martin calf the best I would say so but hell anyone that watched that class knows he was completely overwhelmed when it came to class 10. He pulled 16 in that class which woulda been fine if that's what he had been doing all show. When he would pull his ten he wouldn't even look at the other calves on the walk out which if you've never been there is a long walk. That to me shows a complete lack of respect for those kids especially when he would follow a calf on the way in for 15-20 feet pull him and then put his head down and walk back to the entry gate not even looking at the calves that entered in the meantime!
