will anyone admit it?
I have a crossbread angus cow that is a consistent producer. Her past matings have been dead-on good. I bred her to Thriller this year and had a less than average calf (at this point). What "clean bull" is working on angus based cows?

Biggest disappointment we had this year was Boardwalk on a FF cow. I liked the look of Boardwalk and the cow has plenty of power. She just needed to be softened up a bit. Knowing that a lot of people are having success with Monoply on FF cows and that Boardwalk is a Monopoly son I decided to give it a try. Bad Mistake! The bull calf was awful structured and tube gutted. He was not nearly as thick as his mother and got none of the pretty from Boardwalk. I couldn't see anything positive that Boardwalk brought to the table.

We didn't have very much luck with Boardwalk last year either.

really looked forward to one of the matings this year, and the cow decided to give the calf a little extra bone. so much that it has what looks like two sets of bones in the back leg that are fused together under the skin. it has 2 hooves on that leg as well. major bummer.

by far smiling bob in the last few years bred my best cows to him.  Everyone of them had the worst calves of there careers and it almost killed one of them 115-120pounds 5 days over due date she got it alive but it ripped her up and she didn't breed back either. So smiling bob cost me big dollars usually at least three of those five cows have calves that bring 2500-5000 dollars all five went to the stockyard lol my best cow had a heifer and it was 17 days early and weighed 40lbs just awful i was ashamed to show it to anybody but all my  regular buyers wanted to see what she had cause she is 8 years old never had a calve that wasnt bought and showed somewhere or we kept it as replacement heifer! you couldn't pay me to use him again!!! how did everybody else's turn out was it just me or did some of you all have a bad experience with him? Thanks in advance to all who reply i would really like to hear from everybody who breed some it last year. Ps i thought smiling bob was one of the best bulls i ever seen at Denver when he was there.

Sorry for the bad luck but I would really like to see a picture of this! Never heard of this happening before.

My worst breading was a Moody Blues calf out of a WMW X Heat Wave cow.

calf is fine and runs around. he's straight fronted too and his "good" back leg isn't right either. it's a shame because he is a stout sucker.

here's a picture. calf walks on the front hoof and it appears that there is another leg that is opposite facing to the main leg.
