A family i am helping has a march 2009 angus heifer that we plan to breed in july for a spring born calf for our county fair the following year. She is super super moderate framed and huged ribbed but we need more frame and bone which is typical for the angus. My question is if you were looking for a slick shear steer on a first time heifer which bull would you guys breed to, to get a little more frame/growth and power but to keep the birthweight light.  I know thats opposite characteristics  (lol) but was wondering what yall thought. On heifers this year I used Ali and Tycoon and we will see how those work come september- december.

SAV bismark is throwing some really good ones. Also you might want to look into SAV Pioneer our calves out of him have been around #70 bw and they are stout.

Black Out will work.  You may also want to consider Connealy Final Product.
