This a a simmi cross cow that i bought from a sale barn a few years ago.  I don't know her breeding, but I think that she is a good enough cow.  I am thinking of either a purebred simmi or a lower bw clubby.  What do you guys think.  I don't have much experience with either.

What are you wanting to do with the calf?   I would say there are several Simmi bulls that you could use on her that would certainly work.   Are you wanting to go black or stay red?

I am wanting something that I can keep around for at least a good recip.  I would also like something that I could show as a % simmi.  I have been thinking about dream on, and rocky balboa.

Take a good look at what's in that sale coming up...  Most of those calves are sired by Macho or Mo Better..

I think she has the body type for Who made Who. I think he would clean up her neck and had some extension. If you want some frame go with Hannibal. Dream on Son= Bring it On is suppose to add some extension. We have an Amazon baby due the end of March.

I agree... I think that WMW would work real well on her.

I have 2 Rocky BalboaXHeatwave crosses... 1 heifer, 1 bull.... Good looking. I know the Heatwave has a lot to do with that.. They are still good. But Rocky is good. Seen him in person.. I would go with him

King Meyer, Carney Man, or a simmi bull called Mohammad from Trausch Farms. All should work well.

I think you should set your goals a little higher than just making a recip.. try for the gold man.. we all do.. no use just wanting a averave one.. Shoot if you just want to make recips.. breed her to a holstein..(everyone else keeps talking about jersey's....)  I have dairy too, so i can talk them...haha.. no but on a se rious note...  I think Dream on would work if you want to go % simi route. But that is one tough road these days with the simang deals everywhere...  I think old who should work, really can't go wrong with proven sires who truly prove themselves generations later... If she were mine, I'd go shorthorn with her-- course thats what I raise.....  Cow like that could help the Shorthorn breed some...-- I'd go with any rocket fronted, monster boned, roan colored, clean pedigree'd Trump deal.  IF she's a monster framed cattle then go with JPJazz.  Lots of options here for you..  Just depends on how you want to go.. she appears to be a very versitle type of cow who could work a number of ways.

Not an expert on simmi, but like the looks of Mama's Boy, DJ Salution(don't get much better than DeJongs) and King Meyer the last is probably the cleanest in the pictures.
