Trying to think of a bull or two too breed these shorthorn cows to this fall to have fall calves out of them, I was thinking Dr. Who to make some cool blue roans to make good cows down the road or even Crimson Tide. I would like a good female bull to use on them since I am located in Ohio and don't have much of a market for October show steers. They are not papered just Shorthorn Cross cows I bought open from a guy getting out of the cow business this past summer. Thank you

Final 4 (Red White and Roan,Steve French)  Martindell Enticer- Google Brent Elam-Tenn Shorthorn Assoc-sale Cannondale Scotch-SEK or Cattle Visions- Double Stuff-all of these will produce thick deep bodied cattle and females that work. I dont think any have a BW EPD over 3.-All have some maine-all are good BWS-other than Stuff once in awhile. Blues- Young Money- SEK or Cattle visions Renegade Blue-Competitive Edge Genetics PS Where did the cows come from? I may know a little about them. 1: Young Money 2:Martindell Enticer young 3:Renegade Blue-Young Money son-4 Martindell Encticer mature-5: Cannondale Scotch hiefer-from a very stout Chiller daughter (I think) O0

I have seen quite a few Young Money calves. To me, he works best on medium framed power cows. I have seen him used on larger framed power cows and they get huge. I've never seen an unsound one and all have a pretty good front. I think he makes great steers and heifers too. That's all can add

besides color what do you think each cow needs. its always hard to evaluate from pictures-downsizing, more muscle? Are you wanting to make clubby calves, replacement females etc?
